One of the highlights of Kaplan's suite of test prep products is the Question Bank (Qbank). The Qbank is a repository of professionally written test questions that mimic the style and difficulty level of the questions on the actual exam. The goal of this project was to redesign the Kaplan Medical app so that students can take and review customized practice quizzes while on the go.

The previous Kaplan Medical app had several usability and technical issues, calling for a complete overhaul of the design and backend structure of the app. With the help of analytics and user testing, I redesigned the app to create an intuitive experience for Kaplan students.

The app features a customizable quiz generator where students can select the topics they want to study, number of questions, difficulty, and test taking settings. Once they begin the quiz, the UI mimics the test-taking experience they will see on test day coupled with detailed guidance explaining the solution. Once the quiz is complete, students can review their results and study the correct answer to each question. Finally, the app has a Quiz History page where students can see their performance against all the quizzes they have completed.
